Biography

Until recently, Ming Long was Group Executive, Fund Manager of the $2.5 billion Investa Office Fund (ASX:IOF) from 2014 to 2016 and was responsible for actively driving the long-term strategy and performance of the Fund. She has significant experience in the leadership of financial and human capital within organisations with a strong track record in driving performance through challenging markets.

With close to 20 years’ experience in the finance industry, Ming joined Investa in 2005 as Group Financial Controller and was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in 2009. Prior to this, Ming was at APN News & Media Limited as Group Financial Controller. She was then Joint Managing Director and Finance Director of Investa Property Group.

Ming was previously a Director on the Responsible Entity Boards of Investa Office Fund and Investa Commercial Property Fund, and the Board of Investa Property Group Holdings Pty Limited for many years. She has also been a Director of other Investa funds management boards. She is a member of the Property Council of Australia’s International Capital Markets Division Council. She is also a member of the Finance & Audit Committee of the University of Sydney, one of Australia’s leading universities.

Ming was named as a finalist in the 2014 Telstra Business Women’s Awards.

Ming has a Bachelor of Economics, a Bachelor of Laws, a Masters of Business Administration and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. She is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of Finsia.
