Amy Poynton was up until recently a lead partner in the Ernst & Young advisory practice with a focus on increasing business performance through people and organisation effectiveness. She has over 20 years experience in providing advisory services, both locally and internationally. She has also held leadership roles in corporate environments focusing on people management, sales, operations, lending, sourcing and alliances.

She has been responsible for large scale global performance systems, change management and capability development across Rio Tinto Energy and Rio Tinto People & Organisation Global Function, as well as other government and private sector organisations.

Most recently, Amy has been leading a global HR transformation at a top tier financial services organisation. This has included the establishment of global shared services captive centre, capability development and organisational change & communications.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Amy was Global Head of Sourcing Alliances at ANZ Bank where she had responsibility for end to end sourcing, strategic alliances, APRA delegate for offshore and outsourcing governance and global financial stewardship of sourcing & procurement portfolio.
